Valentines Day

Ashton and I had a ton of fun together. I got him a cute teddy bear. We took pictures. And then we went to the park:))

Growing Growing Growing

During the first month, Ashton learned how to hold his head up well.He caught on pretty quick. At first, he hates his swing. But it eventually because his best first. His umbilical cord fell off around two weeks. Ashton started really smiling a little after a month. And he hasn't stopped. He's two months old now. He loves going outside, when it's warm enough. When he wakes up in the morning he's extremely happy. Ashton wakes up with a smile on his face and ready to giggle. He loves sitting up and most of the time I have to rock him to sleep. He's a very happy baby. He's started playing with toys. When we went to the doctor on the 7th he had to get shots. One in each leg. He didn't cry much and then he was happy again. He weighs 10.4 pounds and is 23 1/4 inches long. My baby's growing:))

THE BIG DAY

 Ashton's original due date was Dec 1st. He didn't arrive until Dec 6th. It wasn't a very long labor. I was induced at 5:30 that morning, but Ashton had already decided he was going to come that day. I had contractions the whole night before and didn't get any sleep. His heartbeat was pretty irregular so I couldn't have the basic pain meds. Instead, I ended getting the epidural when I was dilated at 3cm. Eric and I spent most of the day watching tv and talking. He was Born Dec 6th at 3:54pm. He weighed 7 pounds and was 20 inches long. Ashton was born with a ton of hair. He didn't have any problems and was graded a 9 out of 10. He made some really cute faces. Especially the big frown and smile he made while sleeping. We had to put socks on his hands so he wouldn't scratch his face. His mittens didn't fit at all. A lot of people came to visit. Way more than I expected. Eric and I were extremely excited to finally meet our baby. This little boy has made my life complete:)
